Choose The PuffCuff for a Fantastic Finish

The Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. invited us to participate in their 7th Annual Dashing Through The Square 5K. We couldn't help but say yes. Primarily because our founder, Ceata E. Lash, is a proud new member of the sorority, but also because there's no better way to end the year than a bit of cardio with our Curlfriends.

The race started bright and early in the heart of Marietta Square on December 17th. Dozens of fellow participants joined us, all bundled up and ready to go. Despite the particularly cold weather, we were determined not to let a little frost take away from our fun.

The path of the 5K led us through the historic square, as well as the surrounding neighborhoods, full of historic homes and quaint shops and restaurants. The energy was high, with festive music and holiday cheer at every turn. We were joined by families, servicemen and women, and even a few furry friends. Although we enjoyed the race itself, the highlight of the day came after we made it across the finish line.

Once the race was over, we had the opportunity to introduce several of the participants to the power of ThePuffCuff at our sponsorship table. Many of them came to us looking for a solution to comfortably keep their curls up and out of the way while they ran. We gave away free styling demos, showing them how to use the PuffCuff and #DitchTheBand for a fantastic finish.
