It seems like just yesterday when PuffCuff LLC was launched back in 2013, with the dream of revolutionizing the natural hair care industry. Little did we know that this small idea would blossom into a trailblazing venture, empowering people with curly hair all over the world.

Let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the key moments in PuffCuff's history:

2013: The journey began with a simple yet powerful idea - to create a natural hair styling tool that would cater specifically to curly hair textures. With passion and determination, Ceata created the first working prototype, and thus, PuffCuff LLC was born.

2014: The PuffCuff ORIGINAL made its debut on Amazon.com, capturing the hearts of countless individuals seeking a better way to style their curly hair. Notably, Ceata received a design patent, highlighting the uniqueness of her innovation.

2015: PuffCuff expanded its product line to include PuffCuff JUNIOR, MINI, and MICRO, catering to various hair textures, densities, and styles. This move reinforced PuffCuff's commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that everyone could experience the benefits of their revolutionary hair clamps.

2017: A groundbreaking moment for the company as Ceata, the brilliant mind behind PuffCuff, became the first Black woman to hold two patents for a natural hair styling tool. This achievement not only symbolized her brilliance but also represented a significant milestone for women of color in the entrepreneurial space.

2018: PuffCuff's popularity continued to soar as their Hair Clamps found their way onto the shelves of Sally Beauty retail stores nationwide. This marked a major step in making PuffCuff accessible to a wider audience, reaching even more people seeking a reliable and effective hair styling solution.

2019: PuffCuff expanded its product range further, introducing the ORIGINAL and MINI hair clamps in CLEAR, enhancing options for those who preferred a discreet look. Additionally, the TangleMaster® Detangling Brush joined their lineup, emphasizing the brand's dedication to comprehensive hair care.

2020: A significant milestone for PuffCuff, as they launched the LAAAYED by PuffCuff line, featuring seven styling products and the innovative EdgeMaster® 3-in-1 Edge Tool. This expansion, coupled with their relentless commitment to the community, resulted in an impressive $2 million in sales.

2021: The year of further growth and recognition. PuffCuff introduced JUNIOR Hair Clamp in clear hair cand PCM - PuffCuff Male, acknowledging the diverse needs of its customers. Ceata's brilliance shone once again as she obtained her fourth US patent for a natural hair styling tool. The brand was also featured on GMA and The VIEW, gaining widespread attention.

2022: Overcoming challenges, including the Apple iOS update, PuffCuff demonstrated resilience and adaptability, solidifying its position as a leading force in the natural hair care industry. The formation of an advisory board further strengthened their foundation for future growth. In the same year, PuffCuff achieved another significant bucket-list check mark by taping for Shark Tank. Though the episode did not air, this opportunity showcased the brand's recognition and determination to make an impact in the market.

2023: PuffCuff's influence continues to expand, with a recent appearance on the prestigious Tamron Hall Show further cementing its status as an industry leader. Excitingly, PuffCuff's availability has expanded, with products now being sold on Target.com and Macys.com, making them accessible to an even larger audience. The brand also celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special new version of the hair clamp, featuring a major celebrity collaboration. But the celebration doesn't end there - PuffCuff is set to be available in four of your favorite retail stores by the end of 2023!

Throughout this remarkable journey, the PuffCuff team has never lost sight of its mission - to empower individuals with curly hair to embrace their natural beauty and confidently express themselves. They have championed inclusivity, innovation, and female entrepreneurship, setting a shining example for aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.
